Let me tell you a little bit about myself...

I have lived experience
First and foremost, I am a mum, who has lived experience with complex grief, as well as a life threatening pregnancy. I understand first- hand the trauma, isolation, grief and despair many of you reading this will be experiencing.

I am a specialist therapist
I am a specialist therapist for grief and healing, baby loss at all stages, pregnancy and birth trauma and pregnancy after loss. I have worked in the baby bereavement arena since 2013.

I am professionally qualified
I am professionally qualified in Integrative Counselling, Mindfulness, Psychotherapy and Hypnotherapy. I work ethically under the professional standards of:

I have created a charity
I created and lead the Baby Bereavement Registered Care Charity Making Miracles and have supported over a thousand families through their trauma and loss. Please visit www.makingmiracles.org.uk to find out more about the amazing work we do at MM.

I host a podcast
I host a specialist Baby Loss podcast called “Baby Loss, Grief and Love” and have created hours of content with health care professionals, families who have lost and also share my own therapy experiences to help others with grief and healing.

I have clinical
observation experience
I spent 2 years at Medway Hospital clinically observing clinics and following the renowned Fetal Medicine Professor Ranjit Akolekar. This was for me to gain insight and understanding of the medical processes and witness firsthand the clinical treatment for both high risk pregnancy and baby loss.

I am a trainer
I train a vast array of medical professionals across the NHS via videos and VR simulations (including the former HEE) and help charities further understand baby loss and grief alongside mental health and emotional well being. Working with organisations such as The Samaritans.

I am a teacher
I attend educational institutions such as Canterbury Christchurch University as well as colleges to help their staff educate the future midwives, consultants and neonatal care teams so they understand loss before being faced with it in their 1-1 practices upon graduation.
